Designer: Jaline

Nieves black and ecru handwoven pareo skirt

Founder Jacqueline Lopez created Jaline while living in Mexico. Intrigued by the beautiful textiles from Oaxaca, she wanted to learn more about the techniques behind them and create a modern feminine beachwear collection, always taking into account the health of the environment. Their mission is to inspire the consumer to value the process and learn about the talented artisans who handweave textiles in Oaxaca. From sustainability standards to environmentally conscious processes, the brand invests in supporting this traditional craftsmanship by creating modern silhouettes. After the weaving is completed, the products are sewn and finished in New York City.
