Designer: Jaline

Delia handwoven cotton dress

Founder Jacqueline Lopez created Jaline while living in Mexico. Intrigued by the beautiful textiles from Oaxaca, she wanted to learn more about the techniques behind them and create a modern feminine beachwear collection, always taking into account the health of the environment. Their mission is to inspire the consumer to value the process and learn about the talented artisans who handweave textiles in Oaxaca. From sustainability standards to environmentally conscious processes, the brand invests in supporting this traditional craftsmanship by creating modern silhouettes. After the weaving is completed, the products are sewn and finished in New York City.

  • The Delia black and ecru striped maxi dress features rope straps, tassel ties in the back, and side slits
  • This chic dress is cut for a relaxed, full-length fit with a scoop neck and low  back
  • Can be worn either way (front to back)
  • Cotton textiles are all handloomed by female artisans in Oaxaca, Mexico
  • Sustainably made in NYC
  • 100% cotton

  • Dry clean or hand wash in cold water. Hang or flat dry
  • As this style features an open weave, care for it as if it is knitwear, and wear jewelry with care, as it may get caught on the weave
